Parapolitika: Journal of Politics and Democracy Studies, with registered number E-ISSN 2721-771X, is an international peer-reviewed open access journal published in February and August by Political Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta.
Parapolitika: Journal of Politics and Democracy Studies is dedicated to the publication of high-quality, original, and cutting-edge research in the field of political studies. The journal seeks to advance scholarly discourse by promoting theoretical, empirical, and contemporary works that provide substantial conceptual and methodological contributions to the existing body of international literature. To achieve this objective, the journal welcomes submissions that explore a wide spectrum of thematic areas, including governance and democracy, political institutions, and the dynamics of elections, parties, and representation. We invite scholarly inquiries into political theory, civil society, and social movements, as well as the evolving landscape of citizenship and public management. Furthermore, the journal places a strong emphasis on contemporary global challenges, accommodating critical research on political economy and development, political communication and digital politics, cyber-politics, and the complex realities of international politics and security.
